Jari-Jussi Syrjä joined Chemigate as a product development engineer in August 2014. Jussi is located at Lapua and is responsible for development of new starch based polymers, especially for water treatment and strength applications. Jussi has studied chemistry at Aalto university in Espoo where he also worked more than 10 years at VTT (Technical Research Centre of Finland). After all together close to 20 years in Espoo, Jussi moved back to his home field, south Ostrobothnia and graduated as engineer of environmental technology from Vaasa University of applied sciences in 2013.
