Bringing Quality Back into Focus – Together for a Better Everyday

Quality is one of the most important cornerstones at Chemigate. For us, quality is not just a feature of a product – it’s a way of working. It is reflected in our daily choices, attentiveness, and continuous desire to improve. Chemigate operates under an ISO 9001 certified quality management system, which provides a clear framework for ongoing development. It guides our operations with purpose and helps ensure that good practices become a lasting part of our daily routines. “It’s important to highlight quality from time to time and encourage everyone to recognize how their own work affects product quality,” says QESH Manager Terhi Kiviranta.

During the summer of 2025, we will once again turn a special spotlight on quality through the Bringing Quality Back into Focus project and its accompanying campaign.

“In times like these, when markets and the world in general are in turmoil, it’s a good moment to return to the fundamentals. Our customers expect quality from us – in actions and in products. Let’s bring quality back into focus,” says Chemigate Group CEO Tom Schauman.

Genchi Genbutsu – Go and See

The summer campaign is titled Genchi Genbutsu – Go and See. This Japanese concept is part of lean thinking and encourages people to go on-site and observe the situation firsthand. True understanding does not come from reports or numbers alone – it comes from experiencing the process, the people, and the environment directly.

The campaign runs from June 1 to September 30, 2025, and all Chemigate employees are welcome to participate. Observations must include a personal development suggestion or a solution on how the issue can be fixed. The focus is on everyday observation skills and proactive thinking – even the smallest ideas can lead to significant steps in improving quality. A panel will review the observations monthly, and the best proposals will be rewarded.

Together, we can ensure that quality remains in focus – now and in the future.
