Tom Lundin D.Sc. (Tech.) joined our team in Mietoinen from 27.2.2017 and will support the Chemigate Sales and R&D functions. Coming from Kemira R&D and Technology he owns a background within industry and academia with cross-disciplinary scientific experiences. Tom’s main expertise covers biofibrils and -polymers, their production, modifications and structural interactions associated with fiber, stock, paper, board and packaging processes. Moreover he has experiences in materials science and characterization with solid understanding of surface & colloid chemistry, especially rheology. Tom has guided and supervised graduate and post-graduate student works and lectured at academic level. He has been working in or with various paper industry companies, suppliers and projects for the last 25 years. In his former position, Tom was involved in development and testing of P&B strength agents.

Atte Leinonen has started with us as a new Customer Service Manager on the 6th of March. He will strengthen our sales team in Eastern Finland. Before joining us Atte worked for another paper chemicals company as a Sales Development Manager almost five years and before that over 11 years as a Process Engineer in our customer board mill. Atte graduated as a Master of Science from Lappeenranta University of Technology in 2000. He has a home office in Imatra where he lives.
